Having grown up in the age of technology, Ethan Byrd discovered in his youth that not only did he have a love of all things computer related, but a natural propensity for it. 

As a child, breaking down and rebuilding computer systems seemed to intrigue him as much as any other activity. He was instilled with a very strong work ethic and a desire to be the best at whatever he endeavored. 

Ethan became an Eagle Scout at 14 years of age, but remained to earn the Bronze, Gold and finally Silver Eagle Palms. A member of the Order of the Arrow and recipient of the OA Founders’ Award, scouting was an influential part of his youth. Today, he is a Lifetime member of the Eagle Scout Association. 

During his freshman year at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Ethan was employed in the IT department. Not only did he attain his B.S. in Information Technology, but had the unique opportunity of receiving 6 years of hands-on experience in combination with his education. From there, he found other employment that broadened his range of expertise. Although working full-time, he found himself in constant demand to complete other work for friends and family, finally leading to local businesses. 

Thus, Byrd’s Computer Service was formed.
